Portland Real Estate And Master Bedrooms On Main Floor
I noticed the other day I hadn’t written about the obvious. That is, master bedrooms on the main floor. Over the years I’ve been in business, only in the last several years have builders started focusing more on master bedrooms on the main floor.
Master Bedroom On Main Floor
There has been quite a lot of new construction in our Portland real estate market with master’s on the main level. In addition, there are, of course, existing homes that have those master’s on the main floor as well.
Redesigning Your Home To Include A Master On The Main Floor
Some of my neighbors in my Lake Oswego neighborhood, have redesigned their homes to eliminate the dining room. They have made that room into a master bedroom on the main level. Some of those homes already had full baths on the main level as well.
Looking at my home, I could do the same thing. I could eliminate the dining room and make that into a master bedroom. In addition, I already have a half bath and there is room for me to add a shower if I were to get rid of the pantry that is currently next to the bath. You may have some of those options in your Portland home as well.
