As a licensed real estate broker in Oregon, I don’t have a license to handle property management or rentals, and can only list and sell you Portland real estate. When I obtain clients wishing to rent or place their Portland home in a rental pool, I refer them to rental agencies I have worked with in the past.
However, I can sell you a home or income properties to be used a rental housing for seniors or boomers instead.
Senior And Boomer Rental Housing
The other day I received a request from a reader looking for a property management company specializing in senior and boomer rental properties. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any that specialize in that niche but felt it was an area that perhaps a rental agency or property management company should consider.
The reader prompted a good blog post idea. If you know of such a company that only specializes in senior and boomer rental properties, please email me. Or, if you are company or individual wishing to start a business, here yet again is a great idea.
Senior Rental Housing
I had written a post not too long ago about a senior housing project that was being developed here in Lake Oswego. I was not the contact person for the project but provided the information as a service to my readers. There were thousands of readers that read that post either wanting more information or inquiring for themselves and looking for senior rental options.
There is a definite need for senior housing to purchase or rent. I think this is an area that perhaps only now is getting attention but the need has been in place for many years.
